The primary care wellbeing service, commissioned by the 3 CCGs, has won a national Positive Practice in Mental Health award for primary and secondary mental health care collaboration.
Local government report highlights importance of active lifestyles
A joint report from the Local Government Information Unit and the Ramblers highlighted the importance of town planning in encouraging walking. It surveyed 118 officers from local authorities across England and found that 89 per cent made walking access a key consideration for their council, with 94 per cent having a local plan to encourage walking and active travel. West Yorkshire and Harrogate Joint Committee of the 11 Clinical Commissioning Groups meets on 7 November
The Joint Committee for the 11 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in West Yorkshire and Harrogate (WY&H) will meet in public on the 7 November. The Committee, which is part of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership, has a shared health programme of work that aims to further improve the health and wellbeing of the 2.6 million people living across the area.
